Registration Setup
Creating an Event - TIMERS
Before You Begin
As a Jaguar Timer, you must have:
- A timer account set up with ITS YOUR RACE
- Proper permissions and access levels
- Basic event information from the race director
If you haven't set up your timer account, please contact info@itsyourrace.com first.
Creating a New Event
- Log into your ITS YOUR RACE admin account
- Click "CREATE NEW EVENT" from your dashboard
- Fill in the basic event information:
- Event name
- Event date
- Location
- Event type
- Expected participant count
Event Configuration
Basic Settings
- Navigate to "EVENT SETTINGS"
- Configure the following:
- Event timezone
- Registration cutoff dates
- Event website URL
- Contact information
- Social media links
Race Setup
- Go to "RACES" in the admin menu
- Click "ADD NEW RACE" for each division
- For each race, configure:
- Race name
- Distance
- Start time
- Division name (must match Jaguar software)
- Age group settings
- Awards structure
Registration Types
- Navigate to "REGISTRATION TYPES"
- Create registration options for each race:
- Early bird registration
- Regular registration
- Late registration
- Set for each type:
- Price points
- Date ranges
- Participant limits
- Available add-ons
Jaguar Integration Settings
Division Setup
- Ensure division names in IYR match exactly with Jaguar
- Configure age groups to match Jaguar settings
- Set up any special divisions or categories
VPN Configuration
- Go to "RESULTS" then "VPN SETTINGS"
- Note your VPN credentials for Jaguar setup
- Configure your Jaguar software with these settings
Testing Your Setup
Before going live:
- Create a test registration
- Export the data to Jaguar
- Verify division assignments
- Test results upload process
- Check mobile app integration

- Double-check all division names match between systems
- Test the full registration flow before going live
- Verify age group settings match race requirements
- Document VPN settings for race day
- Set up results display preferences early
